Privacy policy
bartis.me is my personal portfolio site. It runs on infrastructure I operate in Germany. This page covers what limited data is processed when you visit and the rights you have under the EU GDPR.
1. Controller
Statutory controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the operator named on the imprint page. Privacy requests: darius@bartis.me.
2. Data we process
Server logs
Standard access logs are written when you load this site — IP address, user-agent, URL, status, timestamp. Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH. Logs are kept up to 14 days for security and abuse defense. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.
DNS + edge
DNS and TLS termination at the edge run through Cloudflare, Inc. as a processor. They see request metadata for the duration of routing.
Email contact
If you email me, the message and your email address are stored in my mailbox for as long as needed to handle your request and as legally required (typically 6 months to 10 years depending on the topic).
3. Cookies and storage
No cookies. No analytics, no embeds that track you, no third-party scripts. This page is static where possible.
4. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:

- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77)
