Terms of use

bartis.me is my personal portfolio. These short terms describe what you can do with what's on it, and what I don't promise.

1. Site content

Text, code samples, and visuals on this site are authored by me unless marked otherwise. They're shared for portfolio purposes — feel free to read, share, and learn from them. Copying for republication or commercial use needs written permission.

2. Code samples

Anything explicitly marked as an open-source example follows the license published with it (typically MIT). For everything else, no implicit license is granted — when in doubt, ask.

3. Project work

Projects listed here aren't for sale through this site — they're examples of what I've built. For paid software products, head to bartis.dev. For consulting engagements, terms get negotiated per project before any work starts.

4. External links

I link to other people's sites. I check links at the time I add them, but their content can change after — I'm not responsible for what shows up once you click through.

5. No warranty

Information on this site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The operator is not liable for any losses arising from use of the information here, to the extent permitted by law. Statutory liability for intent, gross negligence, and bodily injury remains unaffected.

6. Changes

These terms can change. The current version is the one linked from the footer.

7. Governing law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
